Hyderabad, August 8, 2015: Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali launched the new user friendly version of the web portal of Stamps and registration department www.registration.telangana.gov.nic which can be accessed both in Telugu and Urdu apart from English language on August 6.

Instead of waiting for hours at the offices, they can book their slot for registration and come at their convenience. SMS alerts on status of registration will be auto-generated and sent to parties’ mobile numbers, ensuring accurate information reducing the dependency on middlemen or touts.

On a pilot basis we are introducing shift system in two sub registrar offices – from 8.00 am to 2.30 pm at Bowenpalli and from 2.30 to 9.00 pm at Marredpalli SROs, based on the feedback this will be implemented in further offices later.

Henceforth people can buy non-judicial stamps on face value, from Post offices across the state from 1st September 2015. This was possible with the signing of MOU between the State Stamps and Registration Department and India Post, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
