Hyderabad, August 29, 2015: First edition of “Qaumi Zaban” Urdu Monthly of the Telangana State Urdu Academy was officially released by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali.

On this occasion G.D. Aruna, Incharge Secretary of Minorities Welfare, M.J.Akbar, IFS, Director Minorities Welfare, Safiullah, IFS, Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation and Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Director and Secretary Urdu Academy, Telangana State were also present.

DCM lauded the efforts of Urdu Academy for coming out with the first edition of the Qaumi Zaban which is solely committed to propagate Urdu language especially amongst the younger generation.

He expressed happiness that the central government has released Rs. 37crores to Dar-Ul-Maarif – The State Archives and Research Institute, Tarnaka to be used in purchase of latest technology machinery for revival and safety of records that are being maintained since the times of Aurangzeb.
