Hyderabad, November 28, 2015: Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Mahmood Ali inaugurated the Aerospace Society of India (ASSI) and launched the promo of Vaayusrushti Aero Space Park at Ramoji Film city. Minister for Finance Cherukur and Ramoji Rao, Chairman Ramoji Group were present on the occasion.

 

Speaking on the occasion Deputy Chief Minister said that the city of Hyderabad is not new to Aerospace and aeronautics arena with the first Indian to land on moon Captain Rakesh Sharma is from this city, internationally acclaimed Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is in Hyderabad and with the addition of Aerospace society of India and the proposed Vaayusrushti Aero Space park in Ramoji Film city will become milestones in the history of Hyderabad city.

He urged all the children and young scientists to participate and join the aerospace society which would help them add wings to their dreams of making it big in the aeronautics and aerospace sector.

Agrawal, Project Director Agni Missile, Prof D. V. R. Vithal, V. Kiran Kumar, Chief Manager, CIPET and G. Lavanya, General Secretary ASSI attended the function.
