Hyderabad, August 22, 2015: Arrangements for successful conduct of the Haj Camp 2015 were finalized in the All Departmental meeting held here this afternoon at the Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Deputy Chief Minister presided over the meeting and sought assurance all the departments and organized involved in the Haj operations for smooth departure of the Haj pilgrims on the scheduled time withour any difficulty or the problem.

He expressed confidence that all the departments concerned will extend full cooperation in this sacred task as per the previous practice. More particularly he asked the Air India officials present in the meeting to ensure that no flight is delayed.

He said that the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao is keen to provide full facilities to the Haj pilgrims that was why the Budget of Rs. Two crores allocated in the combined state remained intact in the Telangana state, and it would be increased if the need arises.

The Deputy Chief Minister further said that the Hyderabad Embarkation point holds the pride of place in the entire country for making the best arrangements for Haj Operation. This was possible only with the cooperation of all the departments concerned.

The Air India officials assured that there would be no delay in the Haj Flights and all the facilities would be provided to the pilgrims. They informed that during past five days 21 Haj Flights took off from ifferent points and no flight was late, rather they took off half an hour early.

GMR Rajiv Gandhi International Airport authorities briefed about the arrangements for the Haj pilgrims and stated that Conveyor Belt, Central Air Conditioning, are being provided from this year for the convenience of the pilgrims, besides arrangements for Wazu, Namaz, and announcement system would be available as usual. Sitting arrangements outside the Haj Terminal and Digital Display of Flight Timings facilities would also be provided.

Immigration officials agreed to fill in the Departure cards/Immigration Forms at the Haj House. Separate counters will be provided for lady and Old age pilgrims. Customs facilitation counters will be set up at the Haj House as per previous practice. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) furnished the list of banned itmes and assured that the banned items if found in the baggage of pilgrims would be handed over to the Haj Committee for returning back them to the pilgrims or their relatives.

Foreign Exchange will be issued to the pilgrims by Indus Ind Bank. The State Bank of India will open Temporary Extension Counters for receiving payments from Haj pilgrims during Haj Camp. The Police Department will make round the clock security arrangements at the Haj House including Law and order and Traffic arrangements. Parking space for four wheelers and two wheelers will be provided in the Public Garden premises.

 

Hyderabad, August 22, 2015: Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj KT Rama Rao invited Governor ESL Narasimhan for the inaugural of T-Hub to be held on 7 September, 2015. Minister detailed that T-Hub is the largest tech incubator in the country and will nurture the raw ideas by providing technological, legal, business and entrepreneurial support.

Impressed by the idea of T-Hub Sri ESL Narasimhan recollected his visits to various Universities in the capacity of Chancellor. “Students have brilliant ideas but don’t know where and how to showcase them. I hope T-Hub bridges that gap and provides a platform.”

While accepting the invite Governor said that he was interested in interacting with the partners of T-Hub and their plans to groom prospective entrepreneurs.

Minister KT Rama Rao also requested the participation of Governor in Grama Jyothy programme. ESL Narasimhan will attend the rural development initiative on Monday.

Hyderabad, August 17, 2015: Ganesh Vollala, 56, a resident of Chikkadppaly, native of Adilabad district was admitted to Saivani Hospital on August 12 due to giddiness with seizers and on the same day he was shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad. He was working at a camera servicing center.

On August 14 he was declared brain dead by the treating Neurophysician. The treating doctor and the coordinator gave grief counseling to the family members and explained them importance of the organ donation.

His wife V. Raniand children (two sons and a daughter) were very kind enough to give consent to Jeevandan programme for organ donation.

On the day of “Independence Day” the organs of Ganesh Vollala, were retrieved and transplanted to the needy patients as per the guidelines framed by the subcommittees of Jeevandan.

2 Kidneys, Liver and Eyes were donated. The Jeevandan appreciated remarkable posture the family members of Ganesh. 

Hyderabad, August 10. 2015: IT Minister KT Rama Rao accompanied by IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan recently met Ratan Tata in Mumbai where they explained him about all the digital initiatives being undertaken in Telangana. He was told about the largest technology incubator being set up in Hyderabad called T Hub. 

Tata gave some valuable suggestions on how this incubator can leverage the resence of pharmaceutical industry and the defence and aerospace industry to innovate new products for them. He praised the vision of the government for creating an extensive digital infrastructure and steps taken for digital empowerment. 

“Had a great interactive session with Ratan Tata and briefed him on Telangana's vision in IT, Sought blessings for T-Hub” minister KT Rama Rao had commented after the meeting.

Minister for IT KT Rama Rao accompanied by IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan also called on Anand Mahindra, Chairman and MD of Mahindra Group. The possibility of investments by various Mahindra group companies in Telangana was discussed. Minister interacted with Anand Mahindra and invited to visit to Telangana.
