Hyderabad, July 2, 2015: Welcoming the 44 member French delegation led by Paul Hermelin, Special Representative for Economic Relations with India and Francois Richier, Ambassador of France in India the Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, has stated that Telangana is the number one destination in India for establishing Industries.

He said that under the dynamic leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, a single window policy has been formulated for prospective industrialists across the Globe to set up their Industries in the Golden Telangana State. He said that Industrialists will be welcomed with red carpet right from the Airport without red-tapism and graft free and the entire process will be completed within 15 days.

He stated that the Indo French relationship would improve bilaterally with the French setting shop in Telangana and hoped that in future when the French visited Telangana they would feel like they are in Paris.

Francois Richier, Ambassador of France in India has remarked that the interaction is an excellent platform to exchange of ideas and understanding the facilities being accorded. He said this will lead for better economic development and cooperation in various fields.

Ambassador has opined that this is a good initiation and will pave way for better investments in Telangana State. Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma in his opening remarks has said that the Telangana Government has initiated many flagship programmes duly focusing on urban infra projects, uninterrupted power supply, Telangana Drinking Water Supply Project and implementing the many welfare programmes for the poor in the state.

Hyderabad, June 27, 2015: The second Tribal Advisory Council Meeting is held in the Commissionerate of Tribal Welfare Department in Masabtank, Hyderabad. It was attended by all the tribal MLAs and MPs of Telangana.

Since the Minister of Tribal Welfare Ajmeera Chandulal is ill, the senior most MLA D.S.Radya Naik presided over the meeting.

The Council has held detailed discussions on various issues of Tribal Welfare with the Commissioner of Tribal Welfare, Secretary of Tribal Welfare, Chief Engineer of Pranahita-Chevella Project, Principal Secretary of School Education, Director of School Education, Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Legal Secretary.

The Council passed various resolutions at the end of the meeting as a result of the detailed discussions held in the meeting.

Hyderabad, June 25, 2015: Chairperson, National Commission for Backward Classes Justice V. Eswaraiah will be visiting the Orphanages at Hyderabad from June 29 to July 4.

On June 26 the Chairman will arrive at Hyderabad and on the same day he will departure for Tirupati and will return to the capital on June 29. Thereafter he will visit the orphanages at Hyderabad.

Hyderabad, June 18, 2015: Telangana State has been declared as winner to receive an award in the category for Best State of India for Energy Security, Governance and Sustainability for the REPA Awards 2015. The awards have been constituted by the Renewable Energy Promotion Association (REPA) and its official publication ENERTIA one of the Asia’s premier journals on sustainable energy and power.

In a communication to the Honourable Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekhar Rao, the Co-Chairman and Convenor of Jury, “REPA STATE Awards 2015” mentioned that the Eminent Jury Panel of “REPA STATE Awards 2015” recognizes that “TELANGANA State” has achieved the State Installed Capacity of 9,500MW for the State Population. He also mentioned that Telangana being a Young New State of INDIA with challenge of providing 24x7 Electricity access to the people has been successful in a short time in Urban, Small Town and Rural Telangana.

The “REPA STATE Awards 2015” were adjudicated by an Eminent Jury Panel under the Chairmanship of Professor A.G. Iyer, Editor-in-Chief & Publisher, ENERTIA and President REPA and ENERTIA Foundation. Other Eminent Members of the Jury include K. Ravi Kumar, Former CMD, BHEL and Prakasam Tata, Executive Director, Centre for the Transformation of Waste Technology, ILLINOIS, USA.
